I really enjoyed reading this book and its predecessor, The Road to Home. Vanessa's writing is so vivid and her stories are captivating. I read each of them cover to cover, putting them down only when I had to! I can't wait to read the next one...

I could not put this book down. I read it in two sittings and thoroughly enjoyed it. Not only was the story entertaining but the characters came alive in an interesting and vibrant country.
